Dan Tastic Education visited our school and the children absolutely loved it! The facilitator was very knowledgeable, the props were amazing and the children (and staff) were engrossed! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is doing a pirate topic
We had Dan Tastic Education for our pirate day for all our Foundation Phase children. They were very accommodating to our requests. The children had an amazing day and so did the staff! They learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We also had so many parents giving positive comments the next day after their children had told them all about their day. We had Dan Tastic Education come and do an Egyptian day for our Year 4 class. It was fantastic! The use of artefacts and practical activities helped bring the history to life. Considering we are living through a pandemic, Dan was very conscientious and made sure the guidelines and our risk assessment was followed through! The children and adults really enjoyed your visit. The children can remember all the facts that you told us, especially the price of the pineapple! We have made pirate ships using logs in the woods, remembering that the sails need wind in order to move the ships forwards, they explained that we needed an anchor to stop the ship. They also absolutely love and 'treasure' the piece of Ruby that you gave to them all. We are going to try and make some 'Hard Tack' biscuits ... without the bugs of course!

Captain Dan Tastic came to our school for a pirate workshop and we all, children and staff, absolutely loved the visit. Captain Dan kept the children engaged throughout.
